Boycott China Now – China’s Secret War with America
China has been a communist country since the battle between Chiang Kai-Shek (backed by the U.S.) and Mao Tse-Tung in which Mao was able to run Chiang out of mainland China and into the island of Taiwan. At this point, in 1949, Taiwan became its own nation and Mao was left to turn China into the communist dictatorship that it is now.
Since that time, China has engaged in behavior that is threatening to people both within China and without.
Right after the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, the Korean war broke out. China supported the North, the U.S. supported the South.
In the mid 1950’s, China engaged in shelling islands in the Taiwan straight and only stopped with the U.S., then led by Eisenhower, threatened to use nuclear force.
In September 2014 a probe led by a Senate Armed Services Committee had revealed hackers associated with the Chinese government had been committing various intrusions of computer systems belonging to U.S. airlines, technology companies and other contractors involved with the movement of U.S. troops and military equipment. Then in October 2014 the FBI revealed that they’d discovered hackers, who they believe to be backed by the Chinese government, had recently launched attacks on U.S. companies.
In 2015, the US Office of Personnel Management made a public announcement that it had been the target of a data breach that targeted the personnel records of as many as 21.5 million government employees. Journalists from The Washington Post reported that the attack came from China, citing unnamed government officials. Then FBI director James Comey was quoted as saying “it is a very big deal from a national security perspective and a counterintelligence perspective. It’s a treasure trove of information about everybody who has worked for, tried to work for, or works for the United States government.“
In 2019, a study showed continued attacks on the US Navy and its industrial partners.
Just recently, in February 2020, a US federal grand jury charged four members of China’s People Liberation Army with a hack on Equifax that had been done in 2017. The FBI’s Twitter statement was that this hack was “one of the largest thefts of personally identifiable information by state-sponsored hackers ever recorded”, involving “145 million Americans”.
And now, they’ve bungled the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus by trying to keep it hushed. They silenced people within their country who were trying to get the world out and now they’re trying to rewrite history by telling the world that the U.S. released the virus there. Investigations are showing it either came from a local Wuhan wet market where unsanitary conditions are a breeding ground for illness, or from a nearby infectious disease laboratory where the mishandling of a coronavirus may have led to its accidental release. While accidents happen, China seemed more concerned with hiding the mistake than with keeping it contained from the rest of the world. Boycott China Now.
